 Committees &Volunteers The Executive Board of the Relay Elementary PTA is excited about the new school year. We are currently in the planning stages for our PTA year and activities. We are currently Seeking PTA Members to serve and/or Chair committees. Below you will find a brief description of some of the committees, activities and fundraising that we Need Your Help With. Volunteer Coordinator - Marielle Dilks will Chair the Volunteer Coordination Committee.
Gianni’s Fundraiser - Gianni’s is an annual “kick off” fundraiser where we sell pizzas and desserts. Tracy Holden will be the Chairperson for this year's Gianni's fundraiser.
Basket Bingo - Kim Haas will be the chairperson for this year's Basket Bingo event. However volunteers are still needed to assist Kim's efforts. Activities will include coordinating a location for the event, donations of baskets and items to “stuff” the baskets, set up and clean up and volunteers to work the event.
Fall and Spring Book Fair - Volunteers are needed to coordinate the Book Fairs that will be held in the Fall and Spring.
Box Tops - Katie Bentley is the Box Tops Committee Chair for the 2009/2010 school year. However additional volunteers are needed to organize the Box Tops for Relay. Further details to come on when and where your family can begin contributing box tops. Also more information may be found at http://www.boxtops4education.com/.
By-Laws Committee - The Relay PTA needs to form a Committee to maintain the Relay Elementary PTA By-Laws. This Committee will also ensure that the Relay PTA stays in compliance with the Local, County, State and National PTA guidelines. Robert Dilks will be the Chair for this Committee.
School Marque - Debbie Geisler will be coordinating the School Marque updates for the 2009/2010 school year.
Kids Go Shopping - Leanna Montgomery will be coordinating the Kids Go Shopping event scheduled for December 10th & 11th.
